Life Hope Center
The Clovis Seventh-day Adventist church has been praying, researching, and planning for the last 2 years to develop a fixed location Life Hope Center which will meet the dental, medical, and vision care needs of the city of Clovis and surrounding communities.
We have been largely inspired by the Central California Conference Life Hope Center initiative and would like to duplicate this successful ministry while at the same time making it locally sustainable and more frequent.
We also intend to offer health coaching, family and financial health education, and will create a food service/restaurant of some kind and a community garden in the near future. We have applied for a 501c3 non-profit corporation and the process for establishing the Clovis Life Hope Center, Inc. is nearly complete.
We exist to address the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health needs of the Fresno/Clovis area. In
addition, it is our purpose to educate and train others to heal, help, and to give hope to their local
community. The Clovis Life Hope Center Project intends to develop a modern and innovative business model
that encompasses the following:
‣ Health Clinic (phase 1)
‣ Vegetarian Restaurant (phase 2)
‣ Farmer’s Market and Community Garden (phase 3)
‣ Mobile versions of each entity
Communities without sickness
And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the
kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. (Matthew 9:35)
Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by evil spirits, and all
of them were healed. (Acts 5:16)
Whatever work is done in the name of Jesus to bless and elevate and restore human beings to the image of God, is as
acceptable to the Lord as was the work of Moses or Joseph or Daniel. You who are the elect and chosen ones are to
receive the divine commission to yoke up with Christ. You must never grow weary in well-doing. The highest honor that
can be conferred upon human beings, be they young or old, rich or poor, is to be permitted to lift up the oppressed,
comfort the feeble-minded, and support the weak. The world is full of suffering; go, heal the sick, pray for the hopeless,
preach the gospel to the poor. (1986). The Youth’s Instructor, 500.
By following Christ’s example to meet the heart-felt needs of humanity, one person at a time
